Almah LaVon (theyy/themme) is an AfroPrismatic creature of myth rumored to be living in Dionde:gâ (colonially known as Pittsburgh). Theyy write fiction and creative nonfiction engaging unfettered, fugitive Black imagination and dreaming a new world many-petaled--some of which has appeared in Black Quantum Futurism Vol. 1; Black from the Future: A Collection of Black Speculative Writing; Queer Magic: Power Beyond Boundaries; and Harvard Divinity School's Peripheries Journal, among others. Their first book, a queer speculative novella, is forthcoming from Neon Hemlock Press in 2026.
