Almah LaVon is an AfroPrismatic creature of myth rumored to be living in Dionde:gâ (colonially known as Pittsburgh). She writes fiction and creative nonfiction engaging unfettered, fugitive Black imagination and dreaming a new world many-petaled. A mixed media magpie, she is committed to weaving nests of collaboration and participatory art. Her first book, a queer speculative novella, is slated to be released in 2025. She knows beauty is rampant.
