Shederick is a native of Macon, Georgia, and currently lives in San Francisco, California. His career as an educator spans 25+ years in multiple sectors and at various types of postsecondary institutions. He is currently the Dean of Students at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CCIS) and a DEI/Higher Ed Consultant. He enjoys museums, concerts, comedy shows, cruises, and tennis.
