Hosted in the Ilges Gallery at Columbus State University, Of Dawn exhibited the work of artists and educators who highlight the link between imagining, preparing for, and shaping the future. The film Obi Mbu (The Primordial House), co-directed by Marques Redd and Mikael Owunna, was showcased here. This experimental film draws on Igbo cosmology and features a choreographed dance performance that reveals the primordial essence of creation. Redd and Owunna's work in this exhibition emphasizes the importance of cultural narratives for guiding us toward a more thoughtful and harmonious future.
