On View: September 21, 2024 – January 4, 2025

Reclaiming Hope: Afrofuturist Visions is an immersive exhibition that bridges memory and future-building through the lens of Afrofuturism. Curated by Rainbow Serpent Collective member Granville Carroll, the exhibit features a dynamic collection of visual art exploring imagination, hope, beauty, technology, and science fiction. Showcasing the visionary work of local and national artists, the exhibition envisions a future shaped by Black voices and collective healing.

As part of the exhibition, Rainbow Serpent co-founders Marques Redd and Mikael Owunna have included their film Obi Mbu (The Primordial House), offering a distinctive exploration of African cosmologies and Afrofuturist narratives.
